Masaya Eguchi (Japan)

Masaya Eguchi is a Japanese who studied Fine Arts at Tama Art University in Tokyo. He is known for his mixed media, sculptural configurations that combine wood and paint to create geometric abstract compositions. Eguchi is influenced by traditional Japanese paper sculptures and paper folding such as origami.
Eguchi's work invites us to explore how order and chaos joins; the artist taking almost a meditative approach when producing. Eguchi's creation can be hung in almost any direction, inviting the viewer to experience the art anew from different angles.
